Chuck set a copy of this leaflet with the shocking three photo “tree to concrete“ sequence on the table in front of each city council person, before speaking to city council about the trees, at their meeting in December 2024.
“I needed to show the reality of what happened up on Winchell Street, just up from Brockman, and make it clear that there would not only be serious and direct civil disobedience if any big tree was proposed to be killed but, also, there would be no more sidewalk millages passed in Ann Arbor.”
